On May 15, 1907 was held at La Lignière the first session of the General Conference, outside of the territory of the United States. Around 3p.m. that day, was born officially the Youth Department. 

We surely could not miss the opportunity to celebrate the centenary of this event! And this is what we are going to do, all together, on May 11-13, 2007, at the same places where this decision has been taken. 

For what reason? Not merely to parade! Or because we like the round numbers! It will especially be an opportunity for each one of you to take a triple look: in what manner Adventist youth have been in the past "Salt of the Earth "? How are we it today? And especially: what decisions should we take to continue being it tomorrow? 

It is therefore more than to invite you just to a commemoration. It will be a feast, an opportunity to worship together, to take position and to reaffirm our engagement. 

Youth of all Europe will be present.
